Duties:

  • Install and Service fire alarm systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems
  • Install wire and devices
  • Trim wire devices

Skills/Qualifications:
Current Fire Alarm License highly desired

  • NICET, Fire-lite, Honeywell, EST, Notifier, or other industry certs highly desired
  • Must have ability to install, terminate and test low voltage cables
  • Ability to apply proper fire stopping procedures when necessary
  • Possess working knowledge National Electric Code (NEC) with regard to the Fire safety industry
  • Any CCTV, Voice and Data cabling experience a plus Must possess:

Job Description and Duties:

  • Install wet, dry, standpipe, fire pump, hydrants, and pre-action sprinkler systems per NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 24 standards as well as national, state, and local codes.
  • Complete and submit all required task-related, activity, productivity, reports, and other documentation promptly.
  • Follow troubleshooting guidelines and refer to technical/parts manuals. Refer to bulletins, modification notices, etc. to diagnose & repair equipment or systems.
  • Accurately document system installation red lines.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all tests performed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including attending training classes when offered.
  • Proficient with computers and software.
  • Ability to lift, move, and operate safely, equipment and tools weighing 100 plus pounds.
  • Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working in ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.

  • Knowledge of design and layout requirements for the fire sprinkler system.

Job Description and Duties:
Inspection and repair of Fire Extinguisher and Suppression systems. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing other tasks as assigned.

  • Be skilled at servicing and inspecting Fire Extinguisher and Suppression systems per NFPA standards as well as national, state, and local codes
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including attending training classes when offered.

Koetter Fire Protection of Austin is growing! We are looking to employ and train individuals for several career opportunities. Our Sales Representatives work with some of the most interesting and high-profile customers in our market. Each salesperson has a base salary with an additional commission incentive. Our team members are expected to be solution providers, not just salespeople. They provide genuine customer service with a focus on code driven inspections and repairs. Sales representatives will develop new prospects and maintain contact with established customers, regularly visiting them at their site of business. If developing personal relationships with your customers and delivering the best service in the industry is your priority, we are looking for you.

In this role you will:

  • Meet or exceed assigned annual sales
  • Generate team leads and provide input on processes and market opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and recommending Koetter’s services tailored to their business objectives

  • Pick up and delivery of equipment and materials
  • Inventory control
  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
  • Maintain the grounds and facility at company headquarters, including, but not limited to, lawn maintenance and general housekeeping
